Visiting Classical School
SEE THE PROGRAM IN ACTION
Prospective parents and members of the community at large often ask if they may visit the classrooms at Classical School to see the program in action. Observations are through appointment. If you would like to arrange a classroom observation, please contact our Enrollment Specialist, Sara Schroeder, by calling the school at (920) 852-5525 or emailing her directly at schroedersara@aasd.k12.wi.us. Mrs. Schroeder will be happy to arrange an observation and/or tour of the school.
VISITOR GUIDELINES
We welcome visitors into our classrooms, but to keep disruptions for the students to a minimum, we adhere to the following guidelines:
- Visitors are required to check-in at the school office to sign in and obtain a visitor’s badge for security reasons.
- Parents or guardians should not bring younger siblings or children while visiting or observing in the classroom.
- Observers are asked to sit in the area designated by the classroom teacher.
- Pictures, video/audio recording devices, and the use of cell phones are prohibited.
- Visitors should not interact with the children in the classroom to enable the students to follow the teacher's directives.
- If a visitor would like to talk to a specific teacher, a meeting can be scheduled for another time rather than disrupting the scheduled lesson.
- During an observation, visitors will see or hear things that must be kept confidential.
- Confidentiality regarding our students is paramount, and visitors must agree to respect the rights of the school staff and students and refrain from sharing any information collected during the visit.
- Visitors need to sign out and leave their visitor’s badge when their visit is complete.
- The principal reserves the right at any time to ask the visitor to leave.
