Welcome to Classical School!

The 2022-2023 school year marks our twenty-fourth year of operation. Classical School is an instrumentality of the Appleton Area School District and is an official Core Knowledge® school.

When students graduate from Classical School their minds hold vast amounts of knowledge–scientific, historical, grammatical, linguistic, mathematic, artistic, and more. With a strong, broad foundation, our students see connections in their world that pique their curiosity and make them enthusiastic to know more; as they mature their knowledge will help them reason, analyze, think critically, question themselves and others, and spend the rest of their lives seeking knowledge (and finding joy in that pursuit). We demand much of our students, and in turn their hard work rewards them with remarkable character and powerful intellect, for a Classical School education turns students into scholars and shapes today’s young children into tomorrow’s smart, savvy, and compassionate citizens.
