Our School

Welcome to Classical School! We are proud to have been serving our community for over 25 years. Classical School is an instrumentality of the Appleton Area School District and is an official Core Knowledge® school.

The school serves just under 500 K-8 students and their supportive families.

Our community develops students who are: critical thinkers, coherent writers, confident speakers, thoughtful leaders, and virtuous citizens. The mind of a Classical School graduate holds vast amounts of knowledge: scientific, historical, grammatical, linguistic, mathematic, artistic, and more. With a strong, broad foundation, our students see connections in their world that pique their curiosity and make them enthusiastic to know more. As they grow and mature, their knowledge will help them reason and spend the rest of their lives finding joy in the pursuit of wisdom.

Every staff member at Classical has high expectations for every student. We demand much of our students, and in turn their hard work rewards them with remarkable character and powerful intellect. A Classical School education turns students into scholars and shapes today’s young children into tomorrow’s smart, savvy, and compassionate citizens.
