UNABRIDGED CLASSICS 

Students learn to read using the SRA Direct Instruction program, Horizons. Once students have completed the SRA Direct Instruction Reading Mastery program in grades 2 or 3, they continue to work on reading development and fluency through the Core Knowledge® Language Arts/English studies.

Instruction focuses on unabridged classic literature, literary analysis, grammar, and composition.

The Core Knowledge® Sequence contains a complete list of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and dramas read in each grade level.
